Game screen is smaller than laptop

A minor issue since it does not affect gameplay, but the screen is much smaller than the laptop screen. I tried changing the resolution, but had no effect.
Any ideas? It's kind of hard on the eyes.

It must be difficult to read the text on a laptop. I've got a 17" monitor and it is a problem sometimes.

Check your machine for options like video expansion or scaling in the bios settings. Depending on the screen you may find it better or worse.
