Potential Base sizes

Post by irishman »

Is it possible to know the potential size of a base before you land there? i.e. how can you tell the difference between somewhere that is only a size 1 port and airfield and somewhere that has size 4 or 5 potentially?

Hi,

If it says port 3/5 it means it is currently at size 3 is optimized for a size 5 (builds real quick). You can overbuild to 3 sizes over the optimim. So that port could be built to size 8. It costs alot more supply and takes longer to build those extra though.

If it says 0/0 the max would be size 3 and it would take awhile and use alot of supply. If you are the allied side you pretty much do not worry about it, your engineers with vehicles will build it in no time. As the IJN be prepared for the long haul. The more engineers the better for all sides.
