Roadblocks

In Operation Firestorm I've finally reached a sort of stalemate with the game due to two problems.

#1: As others have mentioned, landing on a carrier seems to screw with your available forces. I haven't been able to narrow down (assuming the problem hasn't already been figured out), but just sometimes my entire flight (even brought back undamaged counts as totally dead, or I only lose one fighter. The funny thing is that I haven't had it happen much with the Stormhawk and Falcon fighters. More often than now it happens on the Thunderbolt alone. But by the time firestorm comes about, I need the Thunderbolts to hit the capital ships more than ever, due to the fact that you're several outnumbered from the start.

#2: Collisions. Before it was just kind of funny to watch, but now with the collisions, and the capital ship AI just like the fighter AI, it's getting insane. I lost all three AI ships in a destroyer squadron I figured I'd take down the enemy station (forget which sector it's in) but I didn't close watch each one, and they all just flew straight into the station and only turned away seconds before they hit. It's not so bad losing the fighters, but the capital ships are too valuable. Is there any way to create our own AI, because all I want is the capital ships to follow the logical path and sit back while pounding away at a target, not rushing up close.

Use Esc+1 when there are no enemies close by to end the mission without losing fighters to the landing bug.
