Reorging after the Drop

Post by Rooster »

I'm loving HTTR, and am impressed with how the drops are modeled. Will there be further enhancements to this in COTA? Will weather impact landing? For instance, a higher ground-air speed would result in higher casualties upon landing. What about a certain percentage not making it to the DZ, having been blown out of the sky by ack ack?

Also, it would seem that it would take the German para's longer to re-org because they dropped their weapons in separate containers. They were only armed with pistols until they found these containers, and it seems that a hasty attack on the DZ could inflict a high number of casualties.

Thanks in advance for your musings on the topic.

Yes, there will be improvements to the handling of airborne operations for CotA.
