Negative numbers Aircraft Replacement Pool

Scenario 13 Jap AI Allied Human - I am seeing negative numbers in the Aircraft Replacement Pool under the Used So Far Column.

Thats normal ...

You take your A5M's and upgrade to A6M's and the old A5M's go into the pool producing a negative number for used. Same with the Nells -> Bettys

well, yes....

but the pool is empty !
i got an
Claude -137
but no more planes in the pool.
Is this true ? If you have no longer any use for em, they will be deleted ?
Nothing important here,
but if i have other planes and i want em for a few airgroups, this would be not pleasent (at last if it happen in late 42 or 43 and this mistake cost you much!
