Why build B6N Judies ?

I have been looking over Japanese aircraft production and noticed something... The B6N Judy becomes available in Dec 43... Its replacement (B7A Grace) is available June 44.. why build Judies at all ? Just put the industry into the Grace and maybe you can get them a few months early... The Grace is a much better plane and if I can get them in January instead of June, then the hell with the Judies... WHat do you guys think ? Is this a viable strategy ? Can you decrease the arrival time of a late war plane by 6 months ?

Hi Xargun,

You should try my scenario for your next game.
The B6N Tenzan or Jill, was actually put into production in May or June of '43 and that is how i have it set up in mine.

It was a good plane but of course nothing matches a Grace except for a Skyraider! <shudder>

NO... Not even close.. In Jan 42... BUT as Japan you need to plan your production months ahead of time - especially aircraft as they are produced fairly slow...
