Mystery sinkings

Post by PBYPilot »

Have a situation where a group of DD's got hit east of Hawaii on 12/10/41 in a PBEM game.

The original combat replay file I received shows no mention of it, nor does the combat report for the day.

My opponent sent me his combat report for the day and there it is, big as life. Multiple attacks, multiple sinkings. Two different combat reports for the same day with different results.

I've heard of FOW, but not to know you're under attack?

Any ideas?

Sounds like the unsynced problem. See frags thread in the main forum. You must reset your options EXACTLY before and after the replay and orders input. Failure will/can lead to this problem.

I am only playing as the Allies in the Marianas and I check/reset before and after EVERY game load, save game and order input. I am not sure about what Japan has to do, but he/she should check the settings also.
