Other than what kind of ships can be in it and the icon is there a difference between task forces with Amphibious missions and ones with Transport Missions?

I am using the Amphibious ones to tell them apart from my supply convoys but was wondering if I am getting any other benifits/penalties for doing so. No reference to it in the manual that I can find.
