Assistance Needed

I'm playing the first scenatio of the LC mega campaign and I'm at a loss on how to transport my tanks and trucks accross the river. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you have barge carriers run them down to rivers edge and they should unload into river (you may have to hit "L Key"). Then run a tank down to river bank and click on barge then L key tank.
Remember when you load from bank you can only load 1 item ie tank, HT, squad (tank can't ahve riders), if there is a pier/Wharf nearby bring the barge up to it and I've been told you can load a loaded HT or such. Infantry carry their own rubber dingys and just have to be put on a water hex but be sure they have good cover (smoke) because one hit and entire squad is lost, same goes for barges also but they are a little harder to sink. Chief is correct. This is the procedure to follow for loading vehicles onto barges in general.

However, in this specific scenario in Lost Victories, no barges are available yet. Your only units that can cross the river are your infantry units equipped with rubber boats. All you other units must remain on the left bank for this first scenario. They can obviously provide covering fire and smoke to protect your assaulting infantry crossing the river, but cannot cross on this scenario.

When you complete the scenario you will be informed that engineers have enabled your other troops to cross the river so you can enlarge your bridgehead and continue your assault Eastwards.

I have played LV Mega Campaign a long time ago and as long as I remembered in the first scen only your german infantry squads can cross the river on their dinghies and assault the soviet border forces.

The 3 Stug III and all the carrier vehicles can not cross the river as you don't get any barge carrier.
