Was ASW tweaked in 1.20?

Post by Tenzan »

I can't really say from a quick replay of scen006-The IJ subs are poor quality and have trash for crews, but...One did survive a contact, so..maybe it was?

I recall Mr.Frag, I think, saying all the testers were in agreement that ASW was too high and it was going to be toned down, but, no notes in the read-me about it

Anyone Know?

Use them for recon as historically done. The subs with float planes are great.

The current patch is mainly focused on OOB corrections and bug fixes. Combat tweaks had to take 2nd priority to this.

Glad to hear it actually... Cause had they made combat modifications with this one, it would have taken a lot longer. This patch hopefully makes most customers happy with a playable game. Once all the major bugs are whacked, we can all focus on the dusting/fine-tuning process of making this one of the best wargames in history... [8D] I mean the "mod-ers" are already off and running having their fun... Imagine what it'll be like in another year? Or even two? [:D]
