loading pbem move

Ok, I have the patch (all installed ), I have started a pbem game - 1805 scenario, full FOW, been prompted for a password, done all my moves, the game has told me to send the file to my oppo. So I have emailed 2 files - an AMX file and an ADX file,

My opponent tries to load the file - and gets a black screen - no map, any ideas why

Hmm, I might have answered my own question after much p***ing about. This really is very frustrating... but anyway I think the answer is to make the saved pbem file name less than 8 letters/numbers - not including the file extension.
