sounds and music

Post by rodo_benzo »

Hi :)

Now that the game is nearly finished :) , you (MG) should have a precise idea of the music and ingame sounds. Could you tell us a bit about it Is it going to be well diversified (during cpmbat, map movements, etc.) or rather poor ?

Well, I would be happy to read any kind of description of in-game musics and sounds ... if possible ;)

Thank you.

It would be great if the music contained excerpts of, Beethoven - Symphony # 3 (Eroica) - Wellington's Victory - Symphony # 5: Berlioz - Symphonie Fantastique- Rob Roy Overture: Schubert - Symphony #8 (Unfinished) - Rosemunde Overture: Mozart - Symphony # 41 - Eine Kleine Nachtmusik: Mussorgsky - Pictures at an Exhibition: Tchaikovsky - 1812 Overture - Tempest - Marche Slav - Cappriccio Italian: Handel - Royal Fire Music - Water Music: Mehul -.Symphonies 1 & 2: Gossec - Grande Messe des Morts - Symphonies........Well you get the idea...I understand that NAXOS has a very fair licensing rights fee for using their recordings as they are a budget label who likes the exposure...... or, at the very least, allow me to put my own Mp3 files into the music folder so I can do this on my own....[:)]

Hey guys:

Believe it or not. we're not totally fixed on our music! I've got files in place but it's just placeholders files at this point! We do have sounds being worked on and I believe David Heath is organizing this effort.

Any comments Dave...

Thank you
