Can't Transfer

Just got promoted to Lt. Commander and looked forward to trying out some capital ship combat. I put in a transfer request to DESRON 60 "Gerrond" and got this reply:
"Your transfer request has been denied Lt.Commander Daft. The 60th Destroyer Squadron "Gerrond" requires a command rank of Lt. Commander. Please return to your unit and your duties.

Fleet Admiral A. Evars FORCOM
Commanding"

What gives?

It sorted itself out. I flew two more Fighter missions and then transfered to "Gerrond". [:)]
