I was doing a patrol mission aboard the DD Gamma in Shining Fortress campaign and when I clicked on End Mission, the game crashed to desktop. Now everytime I try to resume my game or load any one of the two savegames I had in Shining Fortress, the game crashes to desktop.

Help, please? [&:]

OK, that's a very strange bug. I have implemented a fix that will be in the next release.

In the meantime, I think you will need to hack your save game file to transfer yourself to a different destroyer in a different fleet. Open the save game file using notepad. Near the top you will find the following lines:

grp_iff:  1
 grp_type: 8
 grp_id:   61
 unit:     "Gamma"

Change them to read:

Code: Select all

grp_iff:  1
 grp_type: 8
 grp_id:   48
 unit:     "Enigma"

I don't have a 4.0.0 build that I can use to test this hack, but it should work OK. Let me know if this gives you any additional problems. Good luck, Commander.
