I'm new to ToS WS. I am still playing on the 1.4 Freeware version. I have been playing for only a few days now. I have created a Light Titan and am looking for feedback on how to make it better.

The laser alone will use up all your heatsinks while firing continuously. Ideally, you want to have heat generated == heat dissipated, otherwise you're going to overheat which is bad.
I'd trade the ac4 for a couple machine guns if you're going for a HtH fighter, or the chainsaw for a second ac4 for a medium range design.

You're going to need quote a bit more armor on that rig.. is that 6 armor points on the arms? :o
As far as armor types, try putting Millennia armor where the heatsinks are, generally on the legs at minimum. Vicenium saves weight so is useful elsewhere, Dullaroy always goes on the head. Titanium is best when slots are scarce but weight isn't.

I'd drop the shield down to 1, you don't need that much shielding on a light titan if any. This is based on power and heat issues.

If you want general hints, page through the default titan database and look at how the titans are usually built. Not all of them are optimal however.
