Unit Visibility Questions

Am I correct in interpreting the information in Annex A of the HTTR manual: that a stationary 57mm AT battery (guns) can be detected at a greater distance than a stationary King Tiger (vehicles) platoon in almost all types of terrain? Also are mortar units considered as part of the "guns" category? Just curious, this seems somewhat counter-intuitive.

Good point Bob. It's been a long time since that code was written. So I'll check this out and see if there are any modifiers in there for AT and Mortars. Stay tuned.
