Is....is....is Turkey ever attacked?

Post by Becket »

Yes. [:D]

Just thought I'd resurrect an old thread and show you guys two shots from a game between paullus and I. I'm Germany, he's Soviets, and the other players are set to Hard AI.

The other testers can correct me, but I don't think there's ever been a Barbarrossa like this. [:D][:D][:D]

I attacked Turkey to free up the straits to let my transports through. Multiple Italian transports moved in and amphibiously attacked Grozny and Caucasus, striking Paullus a sore blow in terms of resources. The move through Turkey also lets me supply my army moving through Persia to hit the Urals.

Lest the Soviets send all their forces to the south, I took Leningrad, Karlia, and then dropped 9 infantry in Murmansk with enough supplies to move on the Urals from the North.

I'm sure, now, that I will get crushed for my insolence, but it will be worth it just to have seen this. [:)]
