Game Scale & Other Specs

Post by 8ball »

Hey all!
While I am waiting for the release I have a few questions that I have'nt seen any information about. Not having any of the Steel Panther games, I would like to know just what are some of the game scale data? Like what is the diameter of a hex? Each vehicular unit represents how many vehicles? Each infantry unit represents how many troops? Each gun/artillery/rocket/MG/etc unit represents how many actual pieces? I am assuming this is a turn based game so how much time does a turn represent. I assume that objects have heights and block LOS so how tall are things like buildings, trees, elevation changes and units and does the game machanics allow for this difference in elevation with respect to combat, movement and LOS? Thanks for any answeres you can provide. Is it May yet???

About 50m per hex and several minutes per turn, individual tanks and guns, squad and team sized infantry units.

Commnd and control works by setting objectives by platoon that they have to move toward in a limited "cone".

Offboard artillery units are batterys. Basic elevation levels are 5, 10, 20 and 30 m buildings sizes very based on type and size (single or multiple hex).

I'm Wild Bill can add more ... gotta work those OOB files :-)
