Those SPWAW "Extras"

Post by TomL »

Gentlemen,

Being new to SPWAW, I have just downloaded the v5.01 and all those "extras".. Would someone be kind e'nuf
to explain what I am getting with the following zip files...

SPWAW-V50-MUSIC.ZIP
VID998-V50.ZIP
SPMANAGER3REV.ZIP
COMBATNETV32.ZIP

Are these essential for playing the game??

Tks

Tom,
I can't answer all your questions but I will try. The VID-998 gets unzipped and then copied into Matrix Games/Steel Panters World At War/SND/Stream. You'll see a bunch of these smk files. It may or may not have the vid998.smk already there. Either way just copy and replace it.

The SP Manager is a program to help build scenarios. Just unzip it and install it.

CombatNet is a program for playing online . Just unzip it and install it.

Not sure about the music file as I haven't down loaded it.

If you have any questions shoot me an email or post them and I'm sure you'll get the helpt that you need.
