Problem!

Hi,
i have some probs with the B5 Mod, well in fact i couldn´t get this dang thing to start.

I downloaded the files and unpacked them.
I now have in my "F:\matrix games\starshatter\" directory the additional folders named mod (***\starshatter\mod) and hud (***\starshatter\hud). I also replaced the "music" folder.
But if i try to execute the suggested =("D:\-=Games=-\Matrix Games\Starshatter\Builds\ReleaseBuild\Stars.exe" -filesys) i get an error message.
Well atually i try to execute =("F:\Matrix Games\Starshatter\Builds\ReleaseBuild\Stars.exe" -filesys).

Can somone help??

whats your error message?

or will windows not let you create the shortcut

thats should work

that release build\ stuff was just MY link ment to give an example

This is killing me. I can't seem to get Starshatter to recognize the mod. I extracted it to the starshatter folder ( \games\starshatter\mod ) and put the -filesys command in the shortcut start. However, when I go to the options page, the mod is not visible to be enabled. Any ideas?

it wont be
goto the missions area, build a mission or run one of the ones there
since its unpacked its not seen as a dat hence not as a mod but part of the ss file system

I suggest

Historic - Bonehead down

Its minbari vs EA, its hard, but rewarding if you win, dont stay still, hide behind the hyperion until the nials have passed you, and for gods sake avoid the minbari cap ship

Historic - ShLekkTha Invasions Part I

Is multi system very cool I love it, you start in hyperspace, wait for the cap ships to go through first, you need them there or your going to jump into the area and all the minbari will target you, once again hide with the cap ships, dont attack nials unless you either are 1 on 1 or outnumber then, beams are incredibly deadly and they WILL rip you to shreads

my fav tactic with them is to load up on missiles and just mass fire in their direction, then try to use the distraction to close.

its kind of a system hog, the dilgar mod i'm working on now uses ships that are less then 1/2 the polycount and a lot more optimized... and im gonna try to make fighter battles a bit more intersting, with emps, leeches, cluster emps flack cannons, auto firing point defense systems and so on, right now, fury vs tbolt and so on, hell, I cant do anything against them just try to live lol

Momma never said I was that smart :P Seriously, thanks for the help, and I'll keep those tips in mind. Incredible work you've done thus far.
