News on the Wayward CD's

Post by Paul Vebber »

Well after lots of "double-nought spying" and Sherlock Holmesing we tracked dow the wayward CD shipment. Unfotunatley it sat somewhere in New Jersey all this week and was finally forwarded on...via book rate mule train unfortunately... but is supposed to arrive by the end of next week.

Our apologies for the delay! But we are sitting like you waiting...

We will be spending the weekend on the order database so look for (one or more) emails this weekend.

Slow I realize...but progress!

I'm thinking Paul you guys should "spread the word" about this CD Pressing company. I think a fact-based story or two in some national papers or industry magazines will teach them to f@#k around with the crew and fans of Matrix and SPWAW.

I love Matrix, but if my CD is coming 4th Class mail, I want a rebate on the shipping cost.
Retreat is NOT an option.

when you say "supposed to arrive by the end of next week," do you mean arrive at customers' homes or another distribution center?

Yes, where will it arrive by the end of next week? And I paid for USPS priority mail and that is what I expect, or a rebate on shipping.

As for this shipping house, do you want an airstrike or should I send in a Special Forces stick. The first is more devastating, but the second is more controllable and more accurate.

The slow boat is from the producer to the fulfillment house - they mail them out to you. So they probably won't start getting to you until the week of the 18th.

But the fulfillment house mails them by the method you selected on the old order system

I vote for the SF guys to handle it.

The week of the 18th, oh how my heart aches....

Paul my original purchase will arrive to me
through a Us friend of mine..Mr. David Miller who kindly offered to ship it manually to me..
Don't miss all the weekend seeking for my name through that database ! :D :D :D !
This way I will save a lot of money..and I will use saved money to buy Firefight...
that's to say I have clear the concept of REAL SUPPORTING Matrix Games !
As regards 'delay' remember there was a period after SP1 a lot of us thought there were no future at all for it..
Dos died...but SP survived !!!
So I don't care about delay !!!

Man, doesn't the decision to release the download of 5.01 before the cd shipped, look better and better?

I'm glad to hear they're on the way. I'm sure the Matrix team will throughly exam the shipping method to ensure better results in the future. With that in mind please make sure to take a few Prisoners when the SpecOps guys do there thing.

I'm sure glad I took the time to download 5.01 even though I've ordered the CD!

And my vote for the 'attitude adjustment'....yeah, the SF strike is 'sexier', but I vote for ARC LIGHT!
