D-day museum

Took the wife and kid to see the D-day museum in New Orleans today. It was founded by Prof. Stephen Ambrose of "Saving Private Ryan" fame. New Orleans was chosen as the site of the museum because its the home of the landing craft used in the invasion. If you're in the New Orleans area it is well worth the visit. And yes, there is a M4A1 Sherman and M2 halftrack on display in the lobby.
