Will COTA and the next games be compatible with maps and scenarios created with HTTR?

No.

What we intend doing is converting the code base of HTTR and offering an upgrade of HTTR for a small fee. This will effectively provide HTTR with the functionality/features of the new release. However, scenarios developed in HTTR will not be able to be run in COTA nor vice versa.

Good to know. I assume this means maps too... with the add'l altitude layers and such. Right?

I'm really happy with how this map is turning out, but I guess I'll stop now and wait for the upgrade so I can start over...

Why not use the one you have now to put out a few scenarios. I'm sure other users out there would appreciate it. You can develop it further when the new game comes out by all means, but a bird in the hand and all that. :)
