'w' key displays an 'A' or 'J' in hexes for ownership. Looks like only those hexes occupied by units start out as owned, so everyones gotta scramble around early to gain ownership of hexes.

This is so uncool [:D][:@]...

I've got Japanese infantry of all kinds from regular divisions to SNLFs running around with Bren guns, Stuarts, and wearing what I have to assume must be regulation issue high heel shoes. I'm already at the stage where I try to mentally unfocus when looking at that part of the Japanese land unit window to avoid the stoopid picture.

Does anyone know if there is a workaround?

Thanks.

Well I just had a look at the .bmp file for the ground units hoping that a simple cut'n'paste of the correct Japanese picture would clear the silliness. Unfortunately the pictures all seem to be correctly laid out, and so it seems that someone has coded that part of the land unit window to point at the British picture for many of the Japanese units. Therefore it's beyond my limited abilities to fix it [:(].

I'm now just gobsmacked to realise that none of the developers or testers can tell the difference between a British soldier and a Japanese soldier [X(]

Bug #2, the Japanese units are picking up the Brit's icons when unloading from ships. Was fixed, obviously got unfixed again.

You'll notice it is only happening with the partial units (the /# guys). When the unit is intact again, it has the proper picture.

Thanks Mr Frag, I couldn't figure what was causing it to happen. It's no biggy, but it is annoying (for me anyway) and hopefully it will be considered worth fixing [:)]

Certainly will be, it was fixed already. It seems to have jumped back for some reason.
