blown out of tutorial

I'm looking for assistance on how to get through the first tutorial. I manage to plot all the moves and run a about 20 minutes of game time. The game blows me out to the main menue screen where I would select play or a true update. I have both updates loaded on a PC with Win98 SE and plenty of horsepower. I currently play Hoi, Victoria and all the Talon Soft games. I'd appreciate your help.

Welcome to HTTR.

I'm going to need some more information.

First up can you please run a DX report. See the thread in this forum or Click Here. Then email it to "support[at]panthergames[dot]com".

Does it drop out at exactly the same place in the tutorial #1 each time?

Try running another scenario and see if does the same and let me know if it does or not.

If other scenario's run fine, then it could be a dud scenario file. Try re-installing.

If not it could be one of the other game files that has not installed properly ( although this is unlikely ). A reinstall should fix this to.

The most likely cause, however, is a conflict with some other application running on your machine. The DX report may help us identify that.
