Possible feature?

Would it be possible to allow players to change the drop zones within certain constraints?

Thus, for example, allowing a drop closer to Arnhem rather than miles away, but also with the added risk of higher initial losses and reorganization time. Also perhaps some sort of penalty for higher airplane losses if dropping in an area with more AA ability.

Todd,

While you cannot change the drop zones directly within the Game, the Coup de Main Campaign has several different reinforcement schedules which provide alternate drop zones closer to the bridges. Try it.

Alternatively, feel free to use the ScenMaker to open the Coup de Main campaign scenario and edit your drop zones in there. It's easy. Just go to the reinforcement schedules, select the desired force in the schedule and drag it to the desired location on the map. Make sure you do a "Save As" otherwise you will overwrite the original scenario.
