Your all-time blow outs

Post by dycemc »

I am in the midst of a long campaign as the Germans, and I just had my version of the Marianas Turkey shoot.

Germans Russians
Men 75 1134
APCs 3
AFVs 7 137

As for the AFVs, I lost 4 of those to infantry assaults in the last 2 turns.

My favorite tactic is to get a group of Wurfrahmen(rocket halftracks), surround an ammo dump, and go to town. It can get pretty ugly.

Post some of your all-time blowouts.

:D

Don't remember all the specifics, but here was my best result:
German British
Men 1 480+
APCs 0 60+
AFVs 0 85+
Arty 0 20+
Air 0 5+

Points: 35,000+ for me; 1 for the British.
Decisive Victory :D

BTW, it was a defend mission, in the desert, for my German troops.

I dunno if this qualifies, but this was achieved some 4 yrs ago playing the original Steel Panthers. I was playing long campaign as Japanese and the mission was to advance against Chinese troops :)

I lost nothing, not a single man or vehicle. Chinese lost some 100+ men.

You never forget moments like those. It's kinda like getting a military Oscar or Emmy for your prowess as a warrior! :D

My first experience playing online, Alby wouldn't stop blowing my tanks up. I asked him to stop, but he wouldn't.
Next time I'll bring Leopards, that'll learn 'im
