The game plays very well against the AI - we testers have been having a grand time playing solo, along with PBEM (which you can have multiple AI partners as well as human opponents).

The AI has been improving all the time and you will find that it can be quite aggressive...

Thats all very good to hear. I like both styles of play, but due to restraints, I usually go with solo play. Glad to see there will be a challenge. Keep up the good work!

Yes, but it will depend on how many sides you wish to play...playing Germany or Japan alone will of course be quicker than if you played them both in a single game....

If you are the type of person who is meticulous in playing this type of game you could easily take over 6 hrs.

If you shoot from the hip and don't sweat every small detail you can finish a game in 2-3 hours. Of course this would have to be after you have mastered the interface and turned off all animations. [;)]
