Combat Replay won't

Of late for no apparent reason I've been having some troubles with PBEM UV.

On a couple of occasions the computer would start to load my USN opponent's turn but would ask me for his password. The first time I figured he hadn't ended his turn but had sent me a saved turn instead. He resent and we proceeded without further incident.

Then it happened again. When I chided him he resent the move but again I was asked for his password. He resent again and the same thing happened. Then I deleted both my turn and his turn from the save file and resaved his turn from Outlook Express and everything worked fine. I had to delete both my turn and his to get it to go though. Just overwriting his turn didn't work.

Now a similar thing is happening with another PBEM except this time I couldn't watch the Combat Replay sent by my IJN opponent. When I selected it the program started loading and then seemed to hang up for about a minute and then quit giving me a screen with a red button in the region where the "load saved game" should have been then flashed to another screen asking me for the player one password. I tried deleting the file and resaving but the same thing happened. His turn loaded up just fine though.

Not sure what's going on but sure would like any help/fixes anybody could suggest.[&o][&o][&o]
