Decent Mac OSX wargames at last!

Post by IanAM »

A quick heads-up for those of you who use Macs for wargaming.

Virtual Programming at http://www.vpltd.com/index.php have just made a number of Mac OSX game conversions available to purchase either on boxed CD or via download, including

Spartan
Massive Assault
Victoria
Hearts of Iron
Europa Universalis II

Definitely a welcome development for my Mac!

Excellent! I bought and downloaded Spartan on Sunday...lucky for you that I didn't know about Gates of Troy; I may have held off buying Spartan and waited for that! [:)]

Any estimate of how long it takes them to port the source code and get it working in OSX?

Pretty cool. I use my PC for games only, and my G5 Mac for work. My screen is sooo much nicer for my Mac. This is good news for "work breaks".
