Land locked Unit Resupply

Post by newbie101 »

How is a unit which is inland resupplied? Is it resupplied from the nearest base that has adequate supplies or do I have to initiate resupply in some manner (such as sending a supply plane)? What are your options if the unit is in a base and air resupply isn't an option?

Appreciate any info.

Can it trace a supply path based upon the manual's definition? If it does, then it will "draw" supplies. If not then, you can airdrop supplies.

Land based units are resupplied by the nearest bases. The supply path is limited in accordance with distance and terrain. As the manual says the supplies 'trickle' to the unit. What surprises me is that enemy presence on the supply path doesn't seem to affect it, but I might be wrong.

Pretty sure enemy can cut supply...had one instancewhere approx three wounded Japanese paratroopers were holding allthe supply entering Burma! Endlessly chasing the annoying three amigos around India.[X(][:)]
