Opponent for Scenario 16

Scenario 16 is the historical long haul.

The Japanese don't have the resources for autovictory.

If they establish themselves firmly in New Guinea and the Solomons the Allies are in for a hard time.

Can the Allies hold Port Moresby and/or take Guadalcanal to prevent this in '42'?

Can the Japanese form a firm defense to weather the Allies onslaught through '43?
