surely this game can be played over lan or internet. Every 1 around a computer is rubbish as you can see the moves other players are doing and you dont feel relaxed playing as every 1 is telling you to hurry up with your turn. If it cant be played over a lan why not?

the game will last 10-12 hours a campaign. You think you are going to find someone to sit with you for that long straight? And if you say "well we should be able to save and continue it later." Well there is no difference between that and doing your turn then sending it to him via e-mail and repeat. So in the end, they give you all the multiplayer options you need.

for LAN you could all be sitting on the computers, then send the save to the next person for their turn etc.

This is turn based game and yes, it can be played via Internet using PBEM (hint: read the game FAQ [;)])
