(rated) play-by-mail & clubs

Post by Atlantikwall »

Hello,

recently I found a hint on this game project and since then, I`m absolutely fascinated with what I read. As you may now, there is a strong play-per-mail-community for Axis & Allies which is mainly organized in the four FIDA-clubs (abbreviation for Flames-of-Europe, IAAPA, DAAK and AAMC).

I´ve already posted a thread there with screenshots and the features of the game (not beeing a club official at any club).

So my first question is: Did you already get in contact with these pbm-club-officials to get some (more) support for your game?

Second: How will rated play-per-mail-play be enforced. Will you host a own website to get interested players together and will you enforce a own ranking-list?

Bye,

Andreas

P.S.: I really would appreciate to test the game. And as the no. 1 of both the ranking-lists for the new A&A (Revised) at Flames-of-Europe and DAAK, I would certainly be the one to "check" your AI[;)]! You already meant that your AI will be "light-years" ahead of the one of "A&A-RTS" and this is absolutely necessary, because this game was complete crap! My mail adress would be "atlantikwall@freenet.de".
