While they don't score games, Experience Gaming did a very lengthy review of Gates of Troy. Here are some clips:

The Spartan/Gates of Troy series IS very good and challenging and I agree, the diplomacy is much fun to play around with and really necessary in many scenarios if one wants to survive. Excellent game series, can't wait for Legion II: Civilizations & Empires, that is going to be the best game ever! (hehe how many times do you always hear that statement?)
