B5 / Galactica

Post by DamoclesX »

I am right now uploading the uncompressed versions of both, the galactica mod is a collection of fighters, I cut the solar system and its textures because they are huge, and the textures are right off the production line, I might have another use for them so i"M not ready to hand them out just yet.

Feel free to do whatever you want with this mod, change, edit, kitbash, hack re-release, I just DONT care :)

Hopefully somewhere out there are some people who will pick up the torch and continue on with these projects.

I will post when the upload is done, probably a while, smartftp is acting like stuipidassftp

I'll be away for a while, real life is taking a bigtime toll on all my freetime, Diablo is in charge of ssc for now so if you have any issues or problems direct them to him.

Later!

So Damo, what's your next project? Is it Project 7?
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

Hello Ice,

He will upload it to SSC sometime soon but last I heard from him, he was having FTP trouble.
I have checked the downloads area just now and those files aren't there yet - so keep cheking the downloads area and the BSG forum as he is liale to post as soon as he uploads it.

ive had exactly 90 minutes of free time since last friday lol.

I"ll get it done when I do, I wish I could say right now, but my computer is streached to the breaking limit with the texture sizes I"m working on for a project and for some reason uploading eats a LOT of cpu cycles.

I would leave it on overnight, but ever since my last computer melted I have been paranoid of leaving my system on, and I dotn have the cash to fix anything right now.(not to mention I REALLY need to buy like 1000$ worth of parts)

Can you set the upload task to "below normal" priority?

They will be put for download at your favourite "SS psycho central" at www.starshattercentral.com, in the downloads area.

2 questions:
A. Have you done the Galactica or planning to do it?
B. Will files be released in "source" form, ie .max files?

A. Yes

B. No, I never release max or psd files unless i"m doing commerical work and the client requests them(if its payed work then technically they own them anyways)

IVe got no time to waste with this, I wish I did but the damn thing wont upload no matter what I try, and I dont have hours and hours of free time to baby sit it then re-download every rar file and crc check it.

maby later, when the workload reduced, but I only see it incresing, vertically.
