We appreciate determination and longevity and reward it, even if minimal, Bravo ;).

Congratulations!

Now, with the vet status, you will be harder to purchase and more effective at combat effectiveness :D :D

By changing one's "status" (by your member number) on the bulletin board from recruit to veteran. :)

11Bravo - What's up in Spring Lake? I'm over at Gaylord. Good summer thus far, the Guard has not shelled or bombed the town. We are thankful for our blessings, no matter how small.

Bing, its been a great summer here by the Lake. So much sun I forgot I was in Michigan. Getting excited about blueberries now, some early ones are ripe. Hows the cherries coming?

I will be coming up north when I get the word...

What's left of the Guard? I can't find any of the old units from the 126th around anymore

Just had our airshow and doubled last year's record attendance. Blue Angels, lots of military hardware, got to sit inside an M1A1 tank.

Have a nice summer :)

Cherries are Traverse City, allmost another world compared to Otsego County.

Hey, the premiere social event of the summer season is coming up in a month: The triumphant conclusion of the Otsego County Fair, the one and only Otsego Demolition Derby.

First time I was there I thought, well anybody who is anybody is here tonight. As it got closer to the starting gun I realized that EVERYONE, even if they weren't anybody and never would be anybody was there.

Hope the MIch. blueberries get here soon, I've had to buy New Jersey blueberries at the market, for heaven's sake.

We're happy. The Guard hasn't shelled the town or bombed us, not yet. Remember the encampment where they lobbed a 105 round into the center of Grayling? Right thru the side of a house, fortunately the owner wasn't home, it took out his favorite Archie Bunker chair and he was really, really upset.

Ain't life grand?
