January update?

Post by ojnab_bob »

Thought I would inquire as to the game's progress since the old thread petered out some few weeks ago... a friend and I are both eagerly awaiting this game's release. I haven't played a game on WW1 since the unrelated board game Guns of August, and I imagine the computer version is much more cat-proof.

lol, damn cats. I remember my mom's cat used to just love making a bed out of game boxes and for some reason; found it oh so comfortable to sleep on top of piles of counters. I use to have to construct obstacles around my maps that would have made Rommel proud at Normandy. I also am greatly looking forward to this games release. Can't be long now.

Like ojnab_bob, I too am eagerly awaiting the game. Has anyone heard anything new regarding the GoA website? It would be nice to see the game FAQ/features along with any new screen shots consolidated in one place.

Hi Guys

It looks like we are just about done! The question now is if the game is ready. We are waiting on an updated map from Steve Ford and we are are going to do a limited beta. So keep looking for the beta request and we will get this game out.

Excellent news... I await the release with excitement.

Laugh, I think cats have some sort of genetic programming that release endorphins into their brain if they manage to lay down on piles of counters... they are drawn to table-top games like moths to a flame!

I like the units in WiTP but not the map in Danube. Anyway if its a big improvement on the last one then Im very happy.
