leader bug ?

Has anyone had a HQ leader replaced without you doing it. I just checked SOPAC HQ which had Ghormley in charge but now a IJN LT is running the show. I am also missing Halsey who was in charge of one of my CV groups.

In the off chance that you are not joking: Yes, it has been noted. Probably 1/4 of the post in this forum are devoted to the leader bug. It is also called "the leader bug". Do a search, and you will get the most recent 100 post pertaining to it.

It has been a subject of long, painful, (and sometimes funny) debate. There are actually maybe a dozen or so bugs that all lead to the same thing - leaders disappear and are never seen again. No one seems to know exactly why this happens, and we have not been able to stop it (despite various upgrades/fixes).

It gives you a faint idea on what is going on. People (myself included) are apt to be hysterical about this now.

There was a major attempt to get rid of the leader bug in the version 1.40 upgrade. It does not seem to have worked.
