Gone Gold

Gary Grigsby's World At War gives you the chance to really run a world war. History is yours to write and things may turn out differently. The Western Allies may be conquered by Germany, or Japan may defeat China. With you at the controls, leading the fates of nations and alliances. Take command in this dynamic turn-based game and test strategies that long-past generals and world leaders could only dream of. Now anything is possible in this new strategic offering from Matrix Games and 2 by 3 Games.

Gone Gold

Post by Darken »

Aaaah. Finally WaW has gone gold [:)]

As I live in good ol' Europe I'll still have to wait several weeks until my shop gets it. But that's no problem as I still have another fine game to finish (Morrowind GotYE).

I'm sure the Beta-Testers have made a good job, so that we can play this great game without being forced to install half dozend patches before.

Are there plans to use the WaW-engine for more WW II Games (f.e. Europe at War)?

Now the only thing I need to here from Matrix is the Day it will be available from there store as a Digital Download (never thought this would be my preferred way of purchasing games but has become just that).

After using Digital Download, I can no longer stand to wait for a game to ship. Its great to play it the same day you buy it. I create a text file with the serial number on it and burn that with the exe file to a disk and have never had a problem yet.

Either way I am getting this game. [&o]
