Last Days. Problem with some campaigns

These new expansions from X1 Software add dynamic campaigns and nearly three thousand missions between them to your IL2 Sturmovik, Forgotten Battles, Ace Expansion Pack and Pacific Fighters. The incredible depth and replayability of these new add-ons will give you a very long lasting experience.

Last Days. Problem with some campaigns

Post by Madge »

Some of the campaigns in TLD appear to not be generating properly. Notably all the RAF campaigns, and some of the US ones. When I try to generate them, I just get a blank screen with no map and no briefing. If I click on 'Fly', I get the following erro message. "Mission loading file. No MAP in mission file".

Most of the Luftwaffe and USSR campaigns seem to be working.

I am running FB-AEP-PF patched up to 3.04

Any ideas?

Madge.

Have you installed the latest beta patch for TLD? If not read thread titled "latest patch" below yours and email tankeriv for a copy of "TLD_Beta_Patch_1_03d.zip" or whatever the latest beta version is. Tankeriv email address is contained in the last post of this thread in a special anti-spam format. Just read it carefully and it will become evident to you.

Good luck,

I purchased this add-on as well, and there are no campaigns for the USAAF... how unfortunate. Does this entitle me to a refund, or is there some way to fix this issue? Not a big fan of defects.

Software almost ALWAYS has defects (bugs) which are found later. Thats why we only pay the $20 - $60 US price tag and not the $150 - $300 US price tag (or higher) which would come with a more thorough test program. Unfortunately we users ARE the testers.

Just send Tankeriv an email and he will send you a link for a patch. He is fully supporting his product and has put out so many updates . . . I dont think he sleeps.
