Six consecutive swear words (three with hyphens)!

First two at Cristobal
Next three at Panama City
Last at Aguadulce.

That should be icon 425. It was one of the icons in Tanker's grpahic pack 1.3 (at Spooky's) so I did not include it in the alpha. I can send you along a copy - do you need any others?

How's it looking???

I just downloaded a fresh OOB and OOB patch for TAs graphic mod and installed it. Then put yours in. CTD...no art. How can I be missing it? I swear I am losing it as nobody else has problems and I'm working from the same bloody sets.[X(] Need a ciggie![:@][:D]

Looking pretty good as long as my effed up art does not CTD me.[;)]

I know!! That's what has got me so ...that and a nicotine withdrawl. I'll look at this later after I either give in and have a smoke or the urge passes.

General Eratta

Post by Don Bowen »

Here are some I have found so far. Noticed a duplicate airgroup (on both sides of the canal) and started checking:

Duplicate 397th Bombardment:
Airgroup 1147 Should be 387th Bombardment, equipped with A-36 and arriving 430218 at United States (base 330)

Duplicate 398th Bombardment:
Airgroup 1148 should be 388th Bombardment, arriving 430218 at United States (Base 330). It is properly equipped with A-36

Duplicate RF-3 Squadron FAA:
Airgroup 2171 should be named RT-3 Squadron FAA

Duplicate S2/9 Squadron RAAF:
Airgroup 1462 should be named S3/9 Squadron RAAF
Airgroup 1463 should be named S4/9 Squadron RAAF

Duplicate No.809 Squadron FAA:
Airgroup 2135 should be named No.894 Squadron FAA

11th US Engr Rgt should be added at Cristobal (300) - 411206 arrival.

Duplicate LCU Names - all from Scenario 15. The US ones are obvious. Mike, could you take a look at the Japanese?:
12th AA Rgt (Japanese Army): 986 and 1244
21st AA Rgt (Japanese Army): 1006 and 1281
23rd Engr Rgt (Japanese Army): 1069 and 1461
5th Engr Rgt (Japanese Army): 1321 and 1459

30th US FA Rgt (US Army): 2708 and 2896 - Remove 2896
71st SeaBees (US Navy): 3015 and 3067 - Remove 3067

Duplicate Base Name, Hyderabad:
Base 462 at 19,17 - SE Asia Command (has airgroups assigned)
Base 472 at 23,4 - SE Asia Command. This is Malir - an airfield at 22,4 in Scenario 15????

Don,

12AA in Peking, China sould be called 12th Heavy AA while the 12th AA in Japan should just be 12th AA.

Ditto with 21st; the one in China was 'Heavy' AA. Never mind that their TO&E was the same.

The 23rd Engineer regiment, leave it, as the 23rd in Korea was officially a battalion while the regiment on Hainan was officially a regiment... with 100 more men then the battalion version!

Ditto the 5th engineer regiment; the one on Taan was a regiment while the one in Manchukuo was a battalion.

Ron

That should be icon 425
according to the database London has 3 icons 201,424,425 all of which should be found in the following dir
WITP\ART\Alliedship_back and \Alliedship_transp

I was getting CTD as well but one of my ships a bugger to find fault as it was bloody extra space in name - they are barstards to fine

Death to the Enterprise!

Post by Don Bowen »

I moved the Enterprise Task Force to some-what more historical position and set it's destination to be Pearl Harbor. Now, four times out of four today, The Japanese Pearl Harbor Task Force has spotted, reacted to, and destroyed the Enterprise.

An attempt at an historical change with a very non-historical result. Has anyone else been seeing this??

I'm considering puting the Enterprise task force back to it's initial (Scenario 15) location and direction. Thoughts??

I would, the Allies really can't afford to get its battleship and carrier force creamed on day 1.
