CHS Map Question

Post by scout1 »

Will the the map for the CHS be available with Subchasers map graphics ? No offence to Andrew or the guys, but for me, I like Subchaser's color's, graphics's etc ... the best.

I second that, sorry Andrew, everything's fine but I like Subchasers approach more.

Perhaps the mods will put up a poll...let the masses decide?

There is no need for a decision. CobraAus is putting together a complete alternative graphics set.

No offence taken. I'm the first to admit that I am not much of an artist. Subchaser was talking about making a version of my map a while ago but I am not sure if he intends to complete it. One of the problems is that my map is still a bit of a "moving target", although revisions are always very minor compared to the entire map itself.
Information about my WitP map, and CHS, can be found on my WitP website

RE: CHS Map Question

I’m working on the new variant of Andrew’s map, at first I was going to turn the map back to original map style (with my enhancements) but after long deliberation I decided to go another way, original map looks a bit childish, mountains look like sand dunes, rivers too wide and huge, baobab woods everywhere, coastal lines very abstract… so I’ve decided to abandon original style completely, new variant uses BTR map as a source, this map looks more serious (from a cartographical point of view) …however this new approach requires enormous amount of time, so I can’t say when it will be ready…

We sit tight and wait patiently looking forward to see some great work again.
