A large thanks to the Wargammers here.

Okay, a fellow wargammer mailed me a copy of SPWaW up through 6.1, and I am estatic with joy, not to mention ready to refight WW-whatever.
Thanks to you folks for bailing me out, still have yet to see hide nor hair of the ordered disk, but the same day I did recieve my care package, I recieved an e-mail or two stating that I had another order placed on my behalf, charged yet again, and a comformation e-mail stating something was enroute. Ironic, eah?
Anyhoo, I have experianced my first beatdown at the hands of the computer, North Africa, 1943, a small battle that told me this AI was not going to just rollover and play dead.
Crushed my Brits handily, Lees and Crusaders are no match for PkW-IV's with 7.5cm (Long Barrel) guns, MG34's and 42's humiliate Vickers and Bren's, and the Afrika Corps puts up with no resistance on the path to glory.
And this was a small battle!
The Germans shot like they'd been shooting for years... uh, wait they have been. My tanks lasted only four turns of a twelve turn game.
Awesome!
The coming weekends are looking good indeed.
Thanks again to (handle withheld for security reasons :D ), See'yall at the front.

Sorry for the confusion Nixk. Its a great gaming community, the 'creme de la creme.'

Nice to be in an atmosphere where all the fighting takes place in the games, not the forum ;)
