I've never posted an after action report.... but I have my own style of doing it...

As Glorious Mother Russia we begin our show... having recently been to a seer I suspected the Germans were planning their invasion. I'm not entirely sure what tipped me off about this, but I suspect it was the 20 panzer divisions parked outside my boarder.

1940: I began amassing an army of militia. Had I known the pig-dog germans would not invade for another year they would have been infantry. Still, with a horde of well trained peasants the glorious mother russia awaited their inevitable invasion with a strong heart and more men than guns. Additionally my factories located in the eastern part of Russia have begun producing more factories...

1941: Still no invasion. The germans continue to amass a force on my western front. The allies continue to screw around and I managed to get my submarine stuck off the coast of Normandy... this will have grave implications later on. I have begun mass prodution of infantry and tanks... the germans will never take Moscow... the rest of the country is another story. The allies have taken North Africa... the mystery of why they have taken it remains... Germany has fallen back to Southern Italy...

1942: The tanks have begun their invasion of my homeland. Hordes of soldiers and tanks pour into mother russia. 7 territories fall by the end of this year, leaving Moscow entirely surrounded by enemies.

1943-1943.5: I managed to hold three valuable territories from the hands of the Nazis, including Moscow. In an vain effort I have counter attacked the middle of their push to Moscow in an attempt to cut supply lines to the tanks that stand at my capital's door. The attacks succeed but the german counter-attack renders my strategy useless. Moscow stands at the bring of destruction, guarded by over 30 units I won't go easily. More territories continue to fall... As a last ditch effort I send a small army to make a B-Line to Italy... they'll take 6 territories before falling just outside Rome... My only hope now is a miracle.

1943.4-1944: Stalin be Praised! The allies have invaded southern italy with a massive force! Germany is forced to retreat from mother russia to prevent the massive allied invasion from taking North Italy. Simultaniously many tanks and infantry finish production and we begin our counter-assault.

1944-1945: My strategy from the beginning of the game pays off, the extra factories and now the recapture of the entire Russian front give me the resources to construct 25 tanks in a single turn. It's payback time. I also realize that my subarine in Normandy is preventing the allies from invading. The turn after I move my sub away the allies take normandy with 60 units. Germany is in deep...

1945-...?: The Russian tank division (attack vs. ground level 8!) marches steadily westward, unable to stop us, germany falls its entire army back to West Germany, leaving East Berlin to fall to Russian hands... Additionally mother russia has used this as an excuse to take Sweden, Switzerland, North and South Pakistan, Finland, Norway, Turkey, and Greece. Cold war here I come! Game ends before I am able to defeat the 90 highly trained german units defending the two countires they have left, West Germany and Denmark (undefended, but who wants it!?). The allies never defeat Japan... but China seems to have lost only half their country. Good job China!
