Looking for IJN opponent for scenario - preferably start date in early '42 - willing to run from Dec. '41 if desired.

Hey BLurking, im all for a game it will be my very first PBEM so i'am the rookie you are looking for![:)]

However would you mind waiting till 1.5 is released if you want a game.

I have no problems starting in 42' either. [:)]

Sure, I can wait for 1.5 - patience is a virtue w/ this game, after all...

Seems to me that '42-'43 is the most balanced part of the game - I'm willing to watch the IJN run wild for a couple o' months - but would rather just hand the territory over w/ a later start than make him work for it.

Just my opinion.

Any scenario will be fine for me. [:)]

Would kinda perfer 42' though mainly because im still weak when it comes to 'cleaning up' the SRA.

You might want to check out Turning Point, Scenario 9 I think. Runs something like 5/42 to 8/43. It's a full map scenario, and production is on. So it's the "interesting middle."

It might seem like the Japanese player won't have much room to expand, but the initial Allied supply position is pretty crummy so there's the opportunity for some fun.
