planned to play for an hour or two, ended up playing for 5 hrs last night

Warning: Don't start the big campaign and expect to just play a few turns before going to bed. I ended up going to bed only after, as Soviets, I held off the German invasion, and finally pushed them back west to meet up in Western Europe with the coming from the West and South to stack up all the german army in West Germany. I had the pleasure of taking East Germany as Russia, what a great video to see after the hard fight. Looks like the Allies will win in my first full game vs. computer.

Great game, I was anticipating it highly, so I was prepared to be disappointed (i.e. unrealistic expectations.)

At first I was worried, because I started with reading the manual, and I thought "ruh-roh this might just be to be too complicated." But after running through the full campaign (without Advanced Supply), I now understand the basics. I'm ready to try managing supply now.

I also am just starting managing my own supply and WOW it makes the game so much more interesting/fun! And its not like you have to memorize the whole manual your first play or even your 10th b/c the basics are very simple to pick up. But here are many computations affecting your decisions that you can memorize later and become an even better player. I love itttt! [:D]
