Question on new factories

Post by batou »

Do factories built by a nation with a factory point multiplier benefit from that multiplier?

For instance, if I build 2 factories in the fall of '41, will they produce 8 factory points in 1944 (x4 Axis multiplier)?

If so, this makes me rethink the building of factories at the start of the game. Thanks.

Past late '42 or early'43, it is not the number of factories that is limiting German production. It is resources.

You could have 100 extra factories and they would not be worth a penny without capturing the resources. I would recommend building no more than one extra German factory if even that.

The odds are that you will build something that never gets used when for the same production cost you could have had one tank and one infantry.

This shortage of resources is even worse for Japan. I am not sure how it balances out for Russia or the WA, but they have so much wealth, it almost seems wrong to give them more. [;)]
