Can you actually win?

Post by DamoclesX »

Ive pulled every trick out of my hat I can think of, I even dragged the war out to 46, but no matter how hard I smash the russians or how many allied landings I mess up eventually they just crush me, they seem to have a non stop supply of troops and tanks and what not.

Heck I was even producing like 15 tanks every few turns and it still didnt help!

Im just wondering if you can actually beat the russians down and beat america down and invade them and conqure the world.

I don't think this is meant to be a game of world conquest.

In spite of it's simple game mechanics, this appears to me to be a realistic simulation of the war. I'd say that the victory conditions laid out in the rules make it pretty clear that it is not meant to be a game of world conquest.

If you want to play it as such, I think you may need to set a custom difficulty level that gives slight advantage to the Axis, especially to the Japanese. Without some sort of edge, the Japanese are pretty fragile. From the onset of war, it is only a matter of time until their collapse.
