What happens with shattered german minors in Possum?

Post by Ecca »

I´m playing a Possum campaign against Josan. Many of my allied units (especially Romanians) were shattered during the first winter. 4 month later, none of them has reappeared. Are they lost permanently or will they reappear eventually?

Did you check their national HQs? Anyway, I don't think you should miss them. The only thing they do is they take your few precious reinforcements and keep them at an XP of 30 or so [;)]

Yes, I checked their national HQs. I do mind losing some of them, for example 2 Finnish ski divisions and the Alpini division. In addition, most of the shattered units had a high readiness level which means that some of their strength should be recovered for "free".

Has no one else had this problem when playing a Possum campaign as the Germans?

Sorry Mate, once you lose a foreign division to shatter, it's gone for good. Shattered air units will return to their original HQ, but the ground pounders are gone in WIR

Thanks Forward March. Has it always been like this in WIR? Both me and Josan thought they would reappear either in the OKH or their national HQs.
